Word. Also, people are judging her by American cultural standards. Americans are taught to smile even if they lose. That’s not the case in every culture. Additionally, Vika moved away from her family at a young age to do gymnastics. Her parents are both gymnasts. She is facing a kind of pressure to succeed we can’t even imagine. In the US, they always say “just do your best” but again, other cultures put more value on winning than Americans.
